It's 6 o'clock on a first Friday. The drinks are cold, the crowd is fabulous, and somewhere across the room someone is laughing at something so good you have to walk over and introduce yourself.

That's 4H: Homo Hotel Happy Hour. Every first Friday of the month, we take over a different Tulsa hotel bar for two hours of cocktails, conversation, and community. No cover charge. No dress code. No drama. Just the finest, most fun, most fabulously diverse LGBTQIA+ crowd in Tulsa doing what we do best.

And while we're all having the time of our lives, we pass the hat for a local charity. Because being fabulous and being generous aren't mutually exclusive. Never have been.

Our September Venue: Road Trip to South Tulsa

We're Checking Into
Hilton Garden Inn South.

September is a field trip, darlings. Labor Day took our First Friday, so we moved the party to Friday the 11th and pointed the caravan south. The Hilton Garden Inn South sits at 81st and Mingo, one straight shot down Highway 169, and they're rolling out the welcome mat with pool access included. New part of town, same crowd, same zero dollars at the door. This month the raffle sings for Council Oak Men's Chorale.

What is Homo Hotel Happy Hour?

Homo Hotel Happy Hour (4H) is Tulsa's free monthly LGBTQIA+ cocktail happy hour. On the first Friday of every month we take over a different Tulsa hotel bar, raise money for a local charity with an all-night raffle, and welcome everyone from regulars to first-timers. No cover, no dress code.

When and where is the next Homo Hotel Happy Hour?

4H happens on the first Friday of every month at a rotating Tulsa hotel bar, with one exception: September 2026 moves to Friday, September 11 (venue still to be announced). The upcoming venue and date are always posted at the top of this page and on our Meetup. RSVP on Meetup or join our Facebook group to get the details each month.

Is it really free?

Yes. Admission is always free, with no cover and no dress code. The only money involved is the optional charity raffle, and nearly all of those proceeds go straight to the featured local Tulsa cause.

What charities does 4H support?

Every event raises money for a local Tulsa charity through the raffle and bucket donations. Past beneficiaries include Council Oak Men's Chorale and Queer Lit Collective. Nearly all raffle proceeds go directly to the featured charity; we cover only minimal production costs like our photographer.
